Aoife O’Neill is an experienced Chartered Physiotherapist with wide-ranging skills, knowledge and experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and sports and exercise rehabilitation. She completed her undergraduate degree in University College Dublin in 2000 and received a Masters degree in Physiotherapy in Australia 2008. In 2013, Aoife also completed a 3-year psychology programme in Canada.
Aoife has experience of working in acute medicine, private practice settings and sports teams and organisations. Her main enjoyment is to help people to reach their goals for recovery from injury or pain and empower them to be as healthy in body and movement as they can be. Her favourite treatment modalities include; soft tissue mobilisation, dry needling, and specific movement and exercise prescription.
Previously, Aoife was part of the Sports Science and Athletic Performance staff in Dublin City University for 2 years where she was a teacher on their undergraduate programmes. Her own athletic background is in tennis where she has represented Ireland at senior level for a number of years. Outside of work, Aoife enjoys the outdoors, all sports, travel, music and sea swims!
