Online Physiotherapy

An online physiotherapy (video) consultation allows you to speak one-to-one with an experienced physiotherapist at a time and location that is convenient for you.
Who is it for?
This service is suitable for everyone. No matter how big or small your problem is, our experts here to guide and support you in your journey to recovery.
How does the system work?
Our telehealth system is really easy to use. All you need is a smart device or computer with video and audio, plus a decent internet connection and an up to date browser. Your confirmation email will contain a link to your virtual appointment, and we will “ring” you at your appointment time.
What can I expect during the consultation?
You can expect the very same expert advice and guidance that you would in our clinic. This is a full-length consultation, akin to our in-clinic consultations. Your physiotherapist will take a detailed case history and will ask you a number of questions to assess your condition. He/she will then give you their expert opinion in terms of diagnosis and treatment options, and will create a plan with you for your recovery which might include; strengthening exercises, activity, posture adjustment, lifestyle modification etc. Once your consultation is complete you will receive a personalised exercise programme, complete with video demonstrations, for you to work on afterwards.
Do I need any special exercise equipment?
No special equipment is needed. Our physiotherapists will tailor your exercise programme around your specific needs and the resources available to you.
Fee and payment
The charge for this service is €50.00 and payment is made at the time of booking via Stripe. We will email you a receipt after your consultation.
Can I claim back the cost from my health insurer or Revenue?
Yes, if you have a private health insurance policy, you may be able to claim back some of your physiotherapy costs. Policies vary in this regard, so you may wish to contact your health insurance provider for clarification prior to your treatment. If you are paying income tax you may also be able to claim physiotherapy as a medical expense through your tax return (formerly known as Med 1).
